Nestled in the heart of Summit County, the town of Silverthorne, Colorado is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise with easy access to many popular parks and trails. Despite a relatively small population of less than 4,000, the mountain town sees visitors year-round due in part to its close proximity to the Rockies.

This month, Silverthorne selected LODGINGRevs to support the Town’s short-term rental compliance efforts. Silverthorne is the 46th Colorado municipality to partner with LODGINGRevs. The dynamic software solution provided by LODGINGRevs will bolster an ordinance adopted by Silverthorne in October 2018. The ordinance was implemented to help regulate short-term rentals by requiring a license for every short-term rental property within Town limits.

“The Town has developed and is working to align regulations in conjunction with nearby municipalities and Summit County to reduce community impacts and provide a streamlined complaint resolution process.”1

LODGINGRevs will identify all short-term rental advertisements in the Town to ensure they are properly matched to the correct property address. Local residents will also have access to a 24/7 bilingual complaint hotline hosted by LODGINGRevs.
